Quick Answer: The Convection in Air Apparatus is a twin-chimney demonstration unit used to visibly show how heated air rises and circulates by convection.

Edulab China manufactures and exports the Convection in Air Apparatus directly from its China production facility, supplying schools, colleges, laboratory distributors and institutional buyers worldwide. It is part of Edulab China's Heat range within Physics Lab Equipment, manufactured in-house and export-packed for sea and air freight.

Key Features

Twin-chimney design allows a clear side-by-side view of convection currents
Candle holder fixed to the base beneath the left chimney provides the heat source (candles not included)
Visibly demonstrates that heated air rises, drawing cooler air in to replace it
Simple, low-cost apparatus suited to whole-class convection demonstrations

About This Product

The Convection in Air Apparatus is manufactured by Edulab China as part of its Heat range, built for visually demonstrating convection currents in air as part of heat-transfer teaching in physics laboratories.

Serving Distributors, Institutions and Export Buyers

Edulab China supplies laboratory distributors, schools and colleges worldwide, including government buyers procuring through Ministry of Education programmes and World Bank / ADB-funded education projects.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. How does the Convection in Air Apparatus demonstrate convection currents?
A candle placed in the holder beneath the left chimney heats the air inside, which rises and flows out through that chimney while cooler air is drawn in through the other, giving a clear, visible demonstration of a convection current.
